As Samsung company started issuing safety kits
to it’s customers for them to return their Galaxy Note 7 devices, many were left wondering what other phone would suit their needs and atleast perfom as good as the Note 7.

There is no restructuring of Note 7 devices since the company seems to have shifted all its focus on to the rumoured Galaxy S8 set to launch in 2017.

And so the question remains;

is there any other phone to replace the Note 7?

Yes there is.

I have prepared a list of 5 smartphones you might want to consider in your next purchase.

1.Samsung Galaxy S7 edge ($600)

This might be the best Note 7 alternative due to its software design similarity and a much more cheaper price.

The only difference is that this phone comes with no stylus at 5.5 inches while the note 7 is 5.7 inches in size.Which is barely noticeable.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge uses a normal micro USB charger not the new Type-C plug as you might have seen on your Note 7.

    Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon

    Ram: 4GB

    Storage: 32GB/64GB
    (Expandable microSD slot upto 256GB)

2.Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL ($530)

With a slightly much more cheaper price than the Galaxy S7,this phone has the best auto-focus that no Apple device has managed to beat.

Screen: 5.7 inch IPS LCD 1920×1080 Pixels) with Corning Gorilla glass 4

3.LG v20 ($830)

This device comes with a shock absorbent metal silicon body and is the most best Note 7 alternative available right now.

The LG v20 can absorb shock from greater distances.A feature no other phone has employed in any of their devices.

    Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820

    Ram: 4GB

Screen: 5.7 inch IPS LCD (2560×1440 Pixels) with Corning Gorilla glass 4

    Battery: 3200 mAH

4.Google Pixel XL ($750)

As Google claims that this device has the highest rated camera ever, this seems to be true since it appears to be Smashing the recently launched iphone 7.

    Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 821

Screen: 5.5 inch Quad HD super Amoled

    Ram: 4GB

    Storage: 32GB/128GB

    Alert Types: Vibration;Mp3,Wav Ringtones

    Battery: 3450mAH

5.Apple iphone 7 Plus

As we all know that Samsung devices are still competing with Apple devices for the top position, maybe it’s time you tried using an Apple product and see how different this two companies can be.

Iphone 7 Plus comes with a dual camera which has a wider angle of view than any of its predecessors.

    Chipset: Apple AIO Fussion

    Screen: 5.5 inch (1080×1920 Pixels)

    Front camera: 7 MP

    Back camera: 12 MP

    Ram: 3GB

    Storage: 32GB/128GB/256GB
    (No microSD card slot)

    Protection: ION Strengthened Glass,Oleophobic Coating.

    Battery: 2900mAH

As ther might be no any other phone that can perfectly replace the Note 7,this 5 phones seem to be the most closest alternatives.

If you asked me which one i would prefer from the list above,i would be swinging around the LG v20 & Apple iphone 7 Plus.

Which phone would you prefer as an individual?

And is there any other phone you think should be in this list of Galaxy Note 7 alternatives?

Do leave me a comment below on what you think.

Nice evaluation. Could you do one on unlocked devices?

Any phone without a headphone jack or a MicroSD slot shoudn’t even be listed in top devices. Replaceable battery is a plus on scoring.
As a top device, you should have included the new HP Elite x3. The ultimate Windows 10 Mobile phone, not cheap but amazing.

I have to admit that I can’t stand iPhones.

So you completely left of the Moto Z Play. You like battery life? 50 hours on a single charge is super nice. It’s the right mix of performance, battery, and it’s compatible with Moto Mods.

My wife, an iOS user, was washing something in the kitchen sink yesterday, I walked by and ran my s7 under the water for a bit and walked away…she just glared at me 🙂

    all I will say is…
I’ve tried Blackberry, Samsung, Nexus, HTC, and Apple Iphone over the last few years.
Hands down the Iphone is the best out there. It’s not even close. Yea…I know there will be plenty of Samsung defenders but I have had many phones and I keep going back to Apple because of the build quality as well as Apple IOS is far less buggy than Android….period

Note 7 should be number one place if it wasn’t for the explosion.
then iPhone 7 Plus seem’s good with them dual stereo speakers, waterproof, and 3D touch. looks like one day i have to try iOS.
